Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia officially thanked Consumer Recovery Associates (CRA) for their generous donation and support, support that will help feed children, senior citizens, and the working poor in the Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area.
“The Foodbank is our region’s first safety net for those who are hungry,” said CRA’s President Kalin Scott, “and because of the remarkable job the Foodbank does in our area, we wanted to help them.”
Recognizing CRA for choosing to be part of the Foodbank network, Foodbank Chief Development Officer Marianne Smith Vargas thanked CRA for “for investing your donations in our community. We are pleased you have joined us in the fight against hunger,” she said.
The Foodbank partners with over 300 community agencies to feed the hungry throughout Southeastern Virginia.
CRA holds a firm belief in the importance of giving back to the community. This commitment drives the company’s contributions to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and other non-profits such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Salvation Army, LifeNet Health Foundation, the Virginia Beach Little League, The Barry Robinson Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
